About Home Sauna Guide

Home Sauna Guide is an independent guide to infrared saunas for the home. It exists to help you decide whether one fits your space, power supply and budget, and to explain the claims you will meet while shopping.

How we are paid

We promote one company, Plunge. If you buy through our link we earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. That is why you will not find a ranking of many brands here. Read the full affiliate disclosure.

What we have not done

We have not tested, owned or measured any sauna. Every fact about Plunge comes from Plunge's own product pages, read on 2026-10-28 and printed with that date. Where a page does not say something, such as a return policy, we say it was not stated and tell you to read it at checkout.

How we define "best"

We judge an infrared home sauna on five questions you can check: the stated EMF rating and who measured it, the heater type, the warranty, the power and space it needs, and the price against what is included. The best infrared home sauna page applies them to Plunge and says who should look elsewhere.

How we source other facts

Temperatures, research findings and safety guidance come from pages we opened, such as Cleveland Clinic, Harvard Health, the World Health Organization and the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Each guide lists its sources with the date we read them.

Corrections

This site has no contact form. Prices and offers are re-read on a schedule, and pages are corrected when a source changes. Nothing here is medical advice; ask a doctor about your own health.
